August 2009 Running Skirts in Action Photos

I'm sure your skirt played a big part in having run the whole 13 miles
on sunday in Chicago! Great skirt, I will recommend and continue to buy
your line of fitness wear!

This pic is of my hubby and I after running the Chicago Rock N' Roll 1/2 marathon. Your skirt was great! I will be ordering another to wear for the Goofy Challenge this January!

Attached is a photo of myself, Heather Kelly (Gaffney, SC) and my best friend Delphine P.  (Sierra Vista, AZ).   The photograph was taken at the inaugural Disney Princess Half-Marathon.

The other photo attached....well, those ladies need no introduction.

Thank you for such great products!

Comments about your runningskirt gear?  I've been running competitively since high school, and found the runningskirts website while I was pregnant and searching to read about other pregnant runners, and finally got my first skirt a week before this race (5 months after my second c-section). It was comfortable during the run, and it was great crossing the finish line in a skirt!

It was great to meet you at the RNR Expo – and to finally see Running Skirts here in Chicago! I try to follow the rules about not trying anything new during race day, but I’ve got no problems breaking the rules with your skirt. I’ve been wearing them for quite a while so I knew that even if I got a new one for the race, I wouldn’t have any problems at all. Sure enough! Here’s a picture of me taken somewhere along the course. And thanks for the sizing advice (getting the 0 instead of 1) – it felt really comfortable!

Please find attached a photo for your skirts in action page.  This is me and hubby relaxing  post race.  We completed the Totnes 10k whilst on holiday in Devon, UK. The running skirt received postive comments from spectators.

Good morning ladies,
I just received my second running skirt ... I love them each for different reasons: my first one, chocolate was the one that accompanied  me through my first 10km.  My second one, black and pink...is lovely with its pink shorts! I love them and try to encourage all my running women friends to get one.  I am anxiously waiting for my light camouflage one that I ordered recently so that I can sport it at the canada army run in late september. They are very comfy to run in, even in the hot muggy Ottawa weather.
I am sending a snapshot of me running the Nordion 10 km in Ottawa, wearing of course the chocolate athletic skirt (I would love to be able to wear the running skirts, but because I have big thighs, the athletic skirt gives me better coverage against chaffing).
I hope my entry wins!

YEAH!!!

Just finished a local 5K! The pregnancy skirt was AWESOME!!! It was super comfortable and I loved the extra fabric over my belly. We've also been playing a lot of golf and the athletic skirt is super comfortable and breathable!
Thanks so much!!!

Hi ladies,
I thought that I'd send this to you for your amusement.  The aqua and green in one of your running skirts led to the inspiration of my fairy costume for A MidSummer Night 30k Run, held this last Saturday evening on August 22nd.  The colors reminded me of my grandfather's peacocks, so I hand-painted wings, a tech shirt, and a visor to match.
Run with joy,
Deb (wearing aquatreuse)

This was at the very end. After pushing the double stroller with 2 kids most of the way, my friend who had finished ahead of me came back and took the kids so I could finish.  I was DYING!!!

Comments about your runningskirt gear:  I love LOVE my skirt.  I wear shorts underneath because the shorts are a wee bit too short for me.  I can't wait until I have the money for more!

I love my new green skirt as well as the the light pink one-Thank you for the very cute and useful bag too! This is the 4th skirt I've bought from you and it has been a lifesaver as I do all my running and boot camps outdoors in Florida-you have made my summer a lot more pleasant. Even early in the morning when I'm outside with my ladies, at 6:30am it's already 80 degrees with very high humidity, and stays that way until Thanksgiving....

Here are a few images that will be promoting my upcoming short burst training boot camp-you can do a lot more than run in your skirts with resisted flex band training, rope undulation strength work, Indian Club training, and Kettlebells.  It's key to be able to move freely and comfortably when you do this type of training which is high intensity. Your skirts have allowed me to do this and look better when I'm coaching others. Again, many thanks!

Sincerely,
Tammi
