The Carlsbad 5000 is a fun and fast course that runs along the pacific ocean and home to 16 world records.  Considered the fastest 5K in the world. Both beginning runners  and elite racers alike enjoy particpating in one of 7 races. Finish off your race wearing your finisher medal and adults can enjoy two free beers at the Pizza Port Beer Garden! Just after 12 noon, watch the elite athletes, invited runners vie for lucrative prize money and a new world record.

The junior Carlsbad 5000 is held on the Saturday an available to kids 12 and under.  Its a great race weekend to get the whole family involved.
