Running Skirts in Action March 2009

These are 2 pics of me at the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon wearing my Very Cool new running outfit!  One is before the run, the other is a running pic through the Magic Kingdom.  Thanks for having a booth at the Expo, it was fun shopping!

Here I am at the Shamrock Half Marathon in my pink princess skirt!  You have pics of my teammates in your Shamrock photo album on Facebook.  Thanks so much...the skirts were so comfortable and we got some great compliments on them.  I'm going to have to order more colors.  Thanks again!  Oh, my time was 2:40.  Considering I couldn't run a more than a mile back in September 2008, I'll take it!  Next up for my friends and me is an 8K race in June and then the Rock N Roll in Virginia Beach in September.  I think this will definetly require more skirts.  Thanks again!

Sarah (waring all pink)

I just got back from training and racing in the Caribbean on the cruisetorun series put on by Jerry Friesen from Grimsby, Ontario.
I went on this last year as well and had a blast. Last year I was the only one that ran in a skirt and this year they were everywhere. Even a few of your skirts were worn by runners. It was a great way to meet people (good conversation piece) We took this shot after the St. Thomas 5k race and titled it "Skirts in Paradise".
I'm the Brunette in the pink skirt and black top. The brunette in the blue top and brown skirt is Laura Yasso (her hubby is Bart Yasso from Runners World Magazine)

Fit, fun, fast and fabulous.... in a skirt!

Enjoy,

Cara

I just ran the Disney's Princess 1/2 Marathon...the day before the race I was at the expo and bought a running skirt & strappy top. I have never changed my wardrobe for a race so late, but it was the best choice I could have made! I've been running for about 7 years and this product was by FAR the best clothing I've ever worn! The fit is fantastic, the colors are great, it kept me cool & comfortable. THANK YOU for this amazing product!!! I lOVE it! --erin (wearing cindy blue)

I attached a pic of my friend Nikki and myself as we finish the Myrtle Beach Marathon together in our cheetah haute pink skirts.  We got LOTS of great compliments--from other runners and the spectators!

Thank you!

I had to send this photo in for my friend (Andrea in black with minidot on).  I gave her this skirt because she was going to Walt Disney to do the Marathon that I always wanted to do (in this skirt that I always wanted to wear:).  I told her she had to give me a photo to send in to you and this is what she came back with! I loved the title “Why I Run Marathons”.  I have five of your skirts and LOVE them! I have tried others, but nothing compares.  Maybe next year I can send you a photo of me at Disney! Happy Running and Thank You for the Great Skirts!

See attached photo!!! Running in Cheetah skirts!!  Jill Cook, Debbie Raniere, and Mary Hamblin from Peachtree City, Ga. (sub of Atlanta) Running the "Seaside Florida Half Marathon" on Sunday March 1, 2009!!  39 degrees and winds gusting at 40mph at the start!!  (the storm that brought the snow to the southeast!) We were frozen..but looked great! SOOO many ladies yelling "love the skirts!" as we ran the race together, and finished 2:15!

Here I am getting ready for the Portland, OR Shamrock Run. And here is a picture of my running buddies at the race. It was cold, rainy, and wet but that's the Pacific NW for you. I ran the 5K for a PR of 23:22.

I started running for the first time after my fourth child was born. I entered my first 5k when he was 8 weeks old and was passes by 6 year olds. My pace for my first 5K was 12:04 min per mile that was in July 2008. I ran the Shamrock 5K with a pace of 7:28 min per mile and I looked way cute in my runningskirt.com skirt. Pink of course. I love the Athletic skirt as it covers my stretch marks from having four kids in four years. I get to be comfortable and look cute. Thank you for making such a great product. I'll be e-mailing you back in the summer to say that I broke 21 mins on my 5K in one of your skirts!

Lots of Love,
Angela (wearing all pink)

Thanks for making the Princess Marathon so much fun. My daughter really felt like a princess wearing your skirt and tank!!

My husband took this photo of me while I was running the St. Patrick's Day Road Races 10K in Manhattan, KS.  I ran a PR of 46:56!  Must have been the skirt.

Suzanne(wearing cheetah/ tnt purple)

I’ve attached a picture from our race (Ragnar Relay Del Sol).  Our team name was “the Dirty Dozen”, and the skirts were a huge hit.  Everyone was asking us about them and thought they were “custom made.”  I was sure to tell them about your website.

Thanks so much for helping me out with my order!  The skirt helped complete my "Snow White" outfit which surprisingly only a few caught onto what it was until the end.  I was a little nervous because I had never run in it before but, it was comfortable throughout the race and I received several compliments on it.

The skirt looked and felt great and I definitely look forward to seeing what other cute designs you come up with next.  Hope you had fun at the first Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon weekend as well as it was a great event!  I included three photos- a before, an action shot during the race and and after pic.  As you can see it was cute from start to finish!!

Thanks again!
Rae (wearing snow belle yellow)

Here is a picture of me and the folks from my office after the Michelob Ultra St Patrick's Day 5-Miler in St Louis, MO.  I love the green skirt. Thanks Katri for rushing the shipping so I could have it for the race!
Please enter me in the drawing for a free skirt.
