Welcome to RunningSkirts® , creators of the original Running Skirts® brand athletic apparel.  Now well into our 10th year in the Running Skirts® business, we are sincerely grateful for our families, customers and friends who have supported us as we live our dream in a business that is also our passion.  As identical twins, we've shared everything since birth including our love for running.  After countless races and hours and hours of training, we became all too familiar (bored) with running wear, specifically high performance gear (more functional than flattering!).  Our philosophy is that fitness fashion for women should be fashionable, flattering and (most importantly) functional...Hence the inspiration for our girly-girl designs. 

As busy moms of 5 collectively, we appreciate durable athletic wear that can comfortably go the distance, whether it be 5k, marathon, ultra-marathon or ironman triathlon or our own everyday "ironmom" triathlon: run, school & soccer or the  "ultra-mom" (run, coffee, school, office, lunch duty, office, school, soccer, ballet, track, swim, dinner, office).  Our skirts look great from dawn to dusk no matter what your day brings your way.

Running has never been so comfortable!  Made with a special sweat-wicking fabrics, our runner tested, high performance running skirts, tops and accesories are very comfortable.  Unlike shorts, there is nothing to bunch between the legs.  These skirts are made without any interior seams that could cause rubbing and chaffing of your unmentionables (ouch!).  The running skirt and attached brief stays put in all the right places...the skirt doesn't flip up and the briefs don't ride up (no, your bum doesn't show).   Our athletic skirt is made with compression shorts with longer inseams that stay put and don't ride up when you workout.

We have been developing and testing these skirts for miles and miles over the last three years and highly recommend them to women of all ages that want to add a little more comfort and style to any workout!    We outfit women in all walks of live from our "mini skirts" kids line and teen cross country teams and first-time runners to endurance and elite athletes, ultra marathoners and track & field masters.  We are proud of top rated products and our commitment to high quality and continuous product improvement.  We appreciate our customer feedback and incorporate your suggestions and improvements into our designs each season.
